Living in Colorado, there is definitely no shortage of awesome single track to explore. That being said, it always seems like all of the small mountain towns (Salida, Vail, Winter park) get the attention for having the must ride single track... While these trails are great in there own right, I think there is much better riding to be had, much closer to home. While there have been a few companies that have been quietly producing fat bikes under the mainstream radar for many years now. it's safe to say That surly bikes was the first company to really bring these big tired behemoths into the limelight.
Us cyclists living here on the front range are an interesting bunch. We have the pleasure of seeing some of the craziest cycling designs and inventions bestowed upon the world of cycling.
